Due to the effects of COVID-19, many young
girls resorted to getting married and having
unwanted pregnancies as a means of
survival. One of the girls, Masika got pregnant
at 15 years. We decided to support her
and also convince her parents to let her
stay at home.
We have also shared the Gospel with the
family and they have been encouraged despite
the difficult circumstances. Our desire
is that Masika resumes school as soon
as possible.
Pray for financial provision for the youth &
families in Kasese and for them to trust in
God in tough seasons rather than opting
for unsafe survival options.
83 people were reached and 15 committed
their lives to Christ during the October
trainings.
